Creative Visual Identity for Interior Design – L’Atelier Gris Mousse
Over seven years, we shaped a creative visual identity for this interior design studio in Normandy — blending concept photography, video, print design, and strategic direction.
This was more than a service contract — it was a story of trust, vision, and shared ambition.
A Personal Beginning, Built on Respect
Our collaboration began in 2017 with a phone call — not to start a project, but to share a personal loss. The director of L’Atelier Gris Mousse contacted me to announce the passing of her partner — who had once been my first employer.
He was the one who gave me my start. We had stayed in touch over the years, and there was deep mutual respect between us. He often spoke to her about my work — not as a suggestion, but with pride and a kind of paternal admiration.
So when the time came to rethink her brand communication, it felt natural for her to ask me to take over.
Filmed during our first conceptual shoot, this behind-the-scenes video documents the process of setting up a full dining room on a Normandy beach — a striking way to express the idea of “imagining your interior.”
From Concept to Execution — Creating a Bold Identity
One of our first major steps was defining the new brand slogan: “New horizons for your interior design”.
To bring it to life, I proposed something offbeat: staging a full dining room setup directly on a beach.
She was a bit surprised at first — it was an unconventional idea. But she chose to trust me. And she fully committed: gathering furniture, organizing transport, finding people to help carry everything across the sand.
